Q. I don't feel anything when I use the Nutritone. Is it working?

The new Nutritone system has been designed to utilize a specific range of micro-current, based on the application of current at a lower range level PLEASE SEE EMAIL NOTE. The unit is designed to gently stimulate the face, and some, though not all, individuals may feel a light tingling sensation during use. To ensure that your unit is working, please check to see if the green light indicator is on. Also, remember to use and reapply the serum as needed. Your skin should be moist to ensure proper conductivity and an effective treatment.

 

Q. If the current is not strong enough, will I see any results?

The unit has been designed to be pain free and appropriate for regular use. You should always feel comfortable using the Nutritone unit. Because each individual has different levels of facial sensitivity, it is important that you raise or lower the intensity according to your comfort level.

 

Q. Can the Nutritone be used under the chin?

Yes, the Nutritone can be used along the jawline and under the chin, however, you should avoid the neck area because stimulation to the neck can cause severe muscle spasms. Please read the product manual carefully for directions and warnings about using the Nutritone unit.

 

Q. Manuela's lip was twitching when she was on television. When I use the machine, my lip does not twitch. Does this mean its not working? Or it's not working as well for me?

There was some vibration on Manuela's lip and you may experience it from time to time. It does not indicate a better beauty treatment It simply means the nerve ending at certain parts of your face may be more sensitive than other parts. Time of month, hydration and other random elements may contribute to the vibration.

 

Q. Do I need to place the Nutritone on the EXACT spots that are indicated in the manual for results?

The diagrams in the workbook give a general guide for placement for a complete total face routine using all of the settings. In addition to, or instead of, one can use the Nutritone on any part of the face that you need. Let comfort be your guide. If it feels good or is needed in an area, use it in that area. The diagram lays out a complete treatment of the entire face , you however may want to make the treatment your own by adding in spots that are of key interest to you or are in line with your beauty goals.

 

Q. How can I tell if the Nutritone™ unit is working?

A. Some individuals may feel a light tingling sensation on their skin during treatment. Additionally, when working the green light indicator will be on. This illumination confirms the Nutritone™ electrical activity and that the unit is working.

 

Q. What is the purpose of the dial on the side if you cannot feel anything?

The dial is for controlling the current level ensuring a pain free or no sensation while doing a facial treatment. Although most people will not feel anything while using the NutriTone, others may indeed find that they are very responsive and the setting is too high. As we are all different, we offer the ability to turn down the program for those who are very sensitive. The dial is akin to a pump on a lotion bottle -- some people need more and some need less-- but more product should not cause discomfort.

 

Q. Are there any precautions about using the Nutritone?

Yes, precautions are necessary, and specific contraindications, warnings and precautions are listed in the Nutritone user manual. Please read the manual fully before using the Nutritone device.

 

Q. Why are there different intensities for different parts of the face?

We have researched the face and designed a unit that respects and responds to the various areas of the face. The eye area has finer skin, smaller muscles and responds more appropriately to the pre-programmed range. The face contains larger muscles and denser skin requiring its own current range. The jaw area has very strong muscles, bone and fibrils thus requiring an increased program and dedicated range. Quite simply we wanted the unit to be appropriate in all the various elements of the face

 

Q. My Nutritone light won't turn on. Is the unit defective?

A. The green light indicates the unit is working. When the light is not on, the unit is not working. We have found that the battery that comes with the NutriTone unit is sealed with a clear wrapping. Many miss this at first, so please examine the battery and ensure that the clear wrapping is removed before inserting the battery into the unit.

 

Q. Can I use any serum product for the conductor?

A. We do not recommend using any other serums other than the Nutritone serums. The Nutritone serum has been specially designed to help transport the micro-current correctly to the treatment area.
