Why is it different?
Contains Ectoin – friendly bacteria found in the desert
- If Ectoin, a natural substance, can survive the heat and dryness of the desert imagine what protection it can offer your skin
- It’s like taking one of the toughest natural substances on the planet and using it to shield your skin
- Ectoin, discovered in halophilic bacteria, survives and grows under extreme conditions in salt lakes, seawater, and saline deserts while exposed to high doses of UV-irradiation, dryness, and extreme temperatures
- Ectoin offers holistic protection to the skin, acting as a ‘molecular chaperone’ to help support cell vitality, skin hydration, and tone
Why is Ectoin™ important?
Cosmetic benefits to the skin.
- Protection: helps provide and support Natural Cell Protection Factor – helps protect against environmental factors; heat; cold; elements; pollution
- Anti-stress: helps protect the skin against the harsh effects (dryness, roughness, etc.) of surfactants (detergents, soap)
- helps support skin elasticity
Osmotic regulator
- helps increase, sustain, and stabilize the moisture content of the skin
- addressing the moisture needs of aged, dry, irritated skin
- helps accumulate moisture up to 7 days after the end of the application (Common moisturizers like glycerol show a strong decrease of moisture shortly after the end of treatment)
- a sheath of protection – helps reduce/inhibit trans-epidermal water loss
Who is it for?
